congrats on graduating! i didn't know you were up for it this spring. does this mean you're leaving the h'ville area?

I also didn't realize I was up for any honors until I went to pick up my robe and they handed me one of those gold ropey things. "What's this?" I asked, proving that I wasn't quite as smart as they thought.

I'd like to tell you it don't mean nuthin,' but sometimes it does. When I applied for my first job down here with CSC they wanted to see my undergrad transcripts. Not just a photocopy, but an official copy. At that point I had five years of graduate school and 20 years working in the business, but by golly they wanted those undergrad transcripts. I got the job.
