Professionally, life is pretty decent. I'm making some progress in lab. The semester is due to start and I have to TA for my departmental requirement. I figured I'd have to, but after this semester, I shouldn't have to TA ever again

Dear Ash,

Wow, dealing with both those situations at the same time sounds rough. Stressful situations rarely stay static for long periods of time though, and I hope things resolve themselves positively soon.
