Binghamton University Police received a report at about 9:10 p.m. Sunday of a fight between two students on campus. One student allegedly struck another with a nail clipper. It appears the injuries are superficial. The injured student was taken to the hospital. The alleged assailant is in custody.

How do you strike someone with a nail clipper? They aren't very large, are they?

As I mentioned to Faherty last night, I think you jam it to their skin and then slide it which produces the desired effect. Then again, I doubt these perps were smart enough to realize this.

"Don't mess with me, I'll clip your nails too short and give you a hangnail too!" That must have been a fun job for the ER. They probably saved that persons life that night.
