Was this deliberately not in the World Tour journal? :)
Hope you got a chance to get on the Maid of the Mists while you were there. It's definitely the best way to see the falls, short of being in a barrel. And I wouldn't really recommend that...
unfortunately, no, we were about a minute too slow to get on the last Maid of the Mists tour for the day.
we didn't go down to the viewing spot at the foot of the horseshoe falls either, mostly because of my fear of tunnels :-(
as for the world tour - that is supposed to be for journal entries, and I've been really slack about journalling :-( I'm still going to write more entries, and link them to more photographs.
in 11 days I'll be in Florida - I'm off to Kitchener tuesday (I think) and then London on Wednesday, then back to Toronto (via Hamiiton?) on Saturday, then depart Canada for FLL on the following Tuesday.
after 10 days in FLL, I'll be flying back to SFO for a final day and a half, and then back home to Australia just in time for some nice winter weather.
Are you flying from Canada or driving? If you're going to Florida from Toronto by land, there's a good chance you'll be passing less than five miles from my house.
I *think* I could probably manage to drive on the wrong side of the road, especially after being here for two months, but I wouldn't like to drive that far.

Congrats on the wedding, btw.
