Mr. Zoloft and I have a torrid love affair that continues to this day. We've tried to break up several times, but have always gotten back together in the end. He lets me be me, rather than the anorexic, brainless lump that used to be me. As a matter of fact, I am going to pick him up in an hour...... :)
Rock on! Yeah, I didn't get a chance ot go to the doctor in time to have my prescription re-filled, so I haven't been on it in a while. But when I was, it was great!
That is so weird, you are the last person I would have thought to write me that post. Well, if it worked for you, go girl!
As for me, medication helps tremendously. Both my parents have emotional disorders, so the chances that I was to have one were waaaaaay in favor of. It helps them, it helps me, I'm glad I don't have any blood siblings that have to go through this too.
I didn't know it was trendy to be depressed. I was trendy for many years and didn't even know it. Imagine that. Now I'm not so trendy anymore. Oh well.
ha! Yeah, all that angst in high school was......fucking real! I was very very very depressed. My actual diagnosis was "chronic depression" as opposed to clinical. I would have rather been just angsty and not depresserly.
