Just don't get all neurotic about it.
I know, I know.
1. I haven't seen you in ages, but your friendship is still important to me. You have turned me on to so many cool musicians, it inspires me to go out and seek new things on my own. I hope you know I still consider you a good friend and not an aquaintance.
2. The kingdom of uber geeks shall be yours! Well, locally anyway. I think you will be happy for the rest of your life, if it's spent in front of sparkly bits on a computer screen.
3. Your transformation is almost complete-- and all I can say is, wow. Your wit and intelligence takes first place with you and hopefully always will. But that doesn't mean you're uncute, because you are very cute.
4. What can I say? As a god and a room mate, you do both wonderfully. Ups and downs aside, we have a great friendship.
5. Ahhh! My cute monster!!!!! Bouncy and happy and FUN. I don't see you nearly enough, but being a busy person means you don't always see the people you care about. I always enjoy spending time with you-- you are a conversational jewel.
6. You are the very definition of loyalty. I have never know another friend as loyal as you. You've had rough times, we've had rough times together, but in the end it has always worked out. Yeah, let's get that beer we always talk about.
7. My deadincyde musical spinner of doom! Well, actually happy poppy songs, but still. You can make evil as evil does anyday. I love your cynicism and yes, maybe I *do* remember more about *that night* than I've yet admitted. No gorey borey bits yet, though.
8. If you weren't married we could go guy hunting togethe . I would ride up to you on a white, er , or maybe off-white, horse and sweep you off your feet to my castle, er, well apartment-- you get the picture! I love talking with you, but it seems like we always do more laughing than tallking. Which is a great thing. I just wish you hadn't been leaving the other night.....
9. We've had a rough year. I hope when you get back we can work on stuff. I feel akward about the whole thing so, I won't say much here.
10. I need to order music from you! I wish I could hear you spin, too, I think I would hear some really cool stuff. The cool thing about lj friends who live across the country is that you feel like you are privy to innermost thoughts of someone you would never know existed otherwise.
11. Another cross country-er, I happened upon your journal in a neat way. I think you have much more potential than you give yourself credit for, and I hope you find what you need. I love coming across your journal entries and saying "omigod" or "holy shit" about something you posted or linked.
12. I am so jealous of how much you travel and jet set around! It seems as if whenever I am in your town, you are out of town. Hopefully, we can sit down and talk in the near future, outside of Indiana. I really enjoy your company.
13. The last time you posted was 2 years ago, but I refuse to take you off my friends list. Whenever I see you and get to hang with you it's a treat wrapped in guinness and ice cream!
14. I'm so glad to have gotten to know you through lj-- you are such a creative and industrious person. An inspiration to all who want to get out there and create something, I wish you the best with your job endeavors.
15. I think you seem like a really nice person, but I feel like you dissaprove of me somehow. If that's true it's too bad, but it might be because you are a self -proclaimed introvert. I hope we can sit down and talk cars someday.
16. M-mmmmonkey boy! It always seems to come back to monkeys with you. Remember when you were snowed in at my house and we kept browsing my primate textbooks? Somehow it always comes back to that. You rock, I love spending time with you and laughing until tears run down my face. Remember that fourth of July 3 years ago? We should do it again.
17. Fair lady of the infinite interests and the busiest hobbiest I know. It's too bad you have to work-- you could make an academic career out of any one of your 50 interests. I will make a spell which will oblige a banshee to wail outside your window "coooome to cooooluuuuumbus evvvvvery weeeeeekeennnnnd!"
18. The last time I saw you in person I could hear you five tables down-- I think from the beer volume inherent in a happy hour state of mind. You are one of those people that I wish I spent more time with; just because you are a friend to a friend of mine, doesn't mean I don't think you are cool to be around.
19. Where did you go? You make me laugh until I have to pee.
20. Too bad about the dog thing, but I hope it works out for you guys. I know you moved, but can't remember reading where. We really should have that dinner sometime.
