10,000 hours to World-Class Mastery

In his This Is Your Brain on Music, Daniel J. Levitin says,
"The emerging picture from such studies [cognitive neuroscience research] is that ten thousand hours of practice is required to achieve the level of mastery associated with being a world-class expert-in anything."

this is important news..so far magick has been the only thing that has consumed me for that many hours..

I need something new now... what should it be...

how have you been? haven't heard/seen you since the con.

there are things that have consumed me for 10,000 hours
some aren't that productive... but magick/spirituality has definitely exceeded 10,000 hours by threefold...
just not in one discipline...

I'm looking into the possibility of becoming a "Shaman"...
it's a role of great responsibilty...
so I am just investigating it..

also... I am trying to figure out how to be everything I want to be.... and my sense of grandeur wants to be world-class at what these things are :):
singer, performer, bassist, lover, people person
