Dad recovering in the hospital

I was shocked when I found out the "routine" cardiac catheter procedure my dad was undergoing to check to see if he had a blockage revealed not one but two coronary arteries that were blocked. This was found when he was getting checked before a lower back operation. The stents were put in and he's okay now and recovering at the hospital. Please

Oh man! But I'm glad your Dad is now in the recovery stage! Scary, but lucky they found the blockages in time. This only further strengthens my conviction to get a check-up before my next birthday. It's one of my New Year's resolutions. My family isn't big into doctors, so it's been a while since my last visit.

Very scary indeed especially because there were no classic signs of a heart condition. It's amazing what they were able to do for him without resorting to heart surgery. I probably will go get checked on as well now that I know there's a predisposition for me as well.

OMG Thank goodness they caught it and he's going to be ok! *squishes you tight*

*hugs* Oh thanks sweetie! I'm so relieved that they caught this as one artery was totally blocked and the other one was at 60% blocked. It's frightening to think he could have been killed by this.
