Pokey, my love - can you check to find out the following?
-are either of these options close to the kitchens? (we want an option that isn't, so someone with a shellfish allergy isn't around the strong scent of it cooking)
-can someone who keeps Kosher order something separately but join us at our tables? If you want, I can call and get all grumpy on this point - it has to be OK.
No, I mean if she requires a meal selection that isn't one of the two you listed -as in order herself an entree separate from whatwe have to choose from.
Unfortunately, I won't be there until sometime on Friday.
By the way, if anyone needs a ride up from the Los Angeles area, I'm driving up on Friday, returning Monday, and would love to have the company and share gas.

It looks to me like option 2a may be our best bet - showing up at 5 for the alcove near the bar - which means we all get to order what we want.
I'll check to see where the kitchen is.

The menu option only apply to the private room - it looks like most people want to shoot for the alcove, which means we can order whatever we want.
