Fat Camp

I posted this entry on xanga yesterday and felt like posting it here. After some thought, I don't care if it's public. This is part of my story and writing this helped me, hopefully reading this will help someone out there.

While doing my nails last night, I watched this documentary on MTV about teenagers going to fat camp. Most of it was petty

Its so tough to find a balance- to have enough confidence to feel good about yourself, but at the same time be objective enough to be able to see when you have a problem that will affect your health, whether it be too skinny or too fat.
Especially when you have people close to you skewing your idea of "normal" and "good", and the mass opinion of "beautiful" is size 0 or less.

In other news- Congrats on the new job! Haha I'm jealous of the discounted massages <3

Hey you, I don't know if you're still interested in part time work seeing as you went on a few interviews....but I asked and they could use someone part time depending on your sched. You had told me that you wouldn't be looking until Jan so let me know what the deal is with that!

I sent you a txt via LJ so call me at work to let me know if you'd be working 8 hours a day part time, or just a few hours each day for 5 days.

Hi! I got your text and tried to reply back, but it didn't work. Thanks for asking, but I found a job with Massage Envy and I accepted their offer since they were really flexible with me about starting before January.
