sometime life sucks...got carded today for the smokes and that brought up the question of the card I was using...I explained tht it was my fathers and that I had authorization to use it...and then as the woman was ringing me up and processing the card she was giving me this look like I must really be sorry if at 27 my dad has to give me a crdt card ( Read more... )

Dont worry about what others think, She was probably wishing she had someone to do that for her too or maybe she was thinking Hmmm I wonder if he will buy me dinner at IHOP? *wink* You know how ppl get when it comes to IHOP? LOL
Seriously tho you are damn lucky to have your father around to help. My dad is the same way but I HATE asking him for money so I ask my mom to ask him LOL!
But its rare for me to ask him, He just does it like he knows when we need a little help.
Plus he doesnt get to see his grandkids much so he sends money for them which is sweet :-) So just be lucky and forgot the jealous ones who look at you funny. Next time they look at you funny think to yourself Oh man they musta let one go or something and just start laughing like a fool and point at the person then leave LOL!

I totally understand about having no money. I haven't worked since November and am a single mom...I would die if not for friends who have helped me out this far. Who cares what other people think, as long as you are doing your best? That bitch who gave you that oh so disapproving look could have gone home, smoked some crack and beat her kids for all you know. Other peoples opinions should only matter when you know the other person in question...and even then it's a maybe.

Thanks V it wasn't so much the look she gave me or her oppinion so much as it was the fact that I already feel like a failure due to being 27 and still depending on Daddy to bail me out when I can't afford to live or provide for my family. I work 40hrs a week and have to find a second job but noone is hiring...its just frustrating
