These guys, and the Hezbollah in the north, are going to end up lighting the fuze on WWIII. The fucked up thing is that my Iraqi interpreters are rooting for the Israelis since they see Syria and Iran as the architects of many of Iraq's current problems ( Read more... )

I think just about everybody is rooting for the Israelis... although I do hear some yapping about "proportionality..." but what the hell do I know about such things... I brought a gun to a knifefight, after all... ;-p

What annoys me is, the Israelis are fighting a war on terrorism, just like we are. We'd be pretty teed off if some other country tried to tell us how to fight our war on terrorism. Telling the Israelis to back off is incredibly hypocritical on our part.

We should drop the Road Map to Hell and tell the Israelis to do what they feel they need to do to secure their country. And we should tell the "Palestinians" that 80% of the country set aside for them in the 1947 Partition is held by JORDAN, so go demand a country from THEM if you want one.
