So, yesterday I administered the reading FCAT. Time will tell (say, around June, when the scores come back) if my kids did well/if the school keeps its "A" rating/I remain out of trouble/teachers get bonuses next year. And now we've gotten our scores back; writing dropped a little, reading improved. But not enough. Looks like we'll be a B school next year, and I look forward Monday to my annual ass-chewing by the Principal. *sigh*

It sucks that something I've really loved doing can get dragged down to the point of "gotta get through another year", but there you have it.
