Arielle, Aidan, Simon and I went to an Australia Day thingy at Castle Hill on Friday. As soon as we got there...two separate event photographers stopped me to take my photo. That was funny. I wasn't terribly well dressed imo. Just a black dress, mesh over top and black parasol. Weird... I guess not the stereotypical aussie at an event like that...

I've always been too outspoken for my own good...but I couldn't live any other way...

I've known this from the onset...but just ignored it as a pathetic grab for attention. But the latest stuff is just sickening because there seem to be people that genuinely believe lies and are offering their condolences etc. It's just wrong to do that to people. Really, really wrong.

If theres one thing i cant stand is lies. It sucks to think you know a person then get kicked in the proverbial balls by them. I dont know who to trust anymore i get all these stories concerning ppl i know and even myself but how do you know who to believe anymore especially if ppl are telling you that someone has said something terrible about yourself.
From now on i dont.
a) buy into peoples dramas.
b) keep my opinions to myself even if the lie is about me until i have verified it.
c)take everything said with a grain of salt.

I am sick of dramas and lies and apart from the occasional fight with my partner or ex and dealing with the kids i work with in crises accomodation my life never has any dramas.
Because i am a natural problem solver and very maternal i tend to get drawn into ppls problems where i end up mediating. Well this year that is no more i get paid to do that stuff now so i'll be damned if i'll get drawn into it in my free time.

Sounds like you just dealt with a doozy.
