The Cure!!

The Cure last night were AWESOME! Robbie and the others were so into the gig and they played so many of my favourite tracks!!

There were only 3 downers to the night (in order of most disappointing)..hehe

1/ I didn't get to take  Robbie home :(  (Is it wrong to want to keep him as my own little pet??)

2/ I really wish I took a camera :( Cameras

They tried to confiscate my camera. Got it past the door cos I put the body in one pocket and the lens in the other.

The moment they saw me with it put together though they were straight on to me so I had to go and have a discussion with the secutiry dudes who were surpisingly reasonable about things. I told them they weren't going to get my camera and asked why my camera (just cos it was bigger) was banned but smaller camera with equaly good zoom lenses were okay? And why were videos of last night's gig already* on Youtube but I couldn't get a couple of photos.

I the end they let me keep the camera. I said that if they catch me using it they could throw me out and we all agreed on that. :)

*I made this up on the spot. It may not have been try.

Gee...that sucks :( I saw SOOOOO many camera's going off that it wasn't funny! I wouldn't have risked taking my better and larger camera in...but now I wish I'd taken in my smaller (but atill quite good) one it.

So you didn't end up with any pics then???

No pics at all. The moment they saw my camera they were on to me and it just wasn't worth risking it after that cos of out agreement. I did piss me off though that so many cameras were being used yet they only picked on me cos mine is considered to be a 'professional type

Glad you enjoyed it! They were equally amazing playing here and I too regret not brining a camera. Saw lots of people with cameras and we were right up near the front, we would have gotten awesome shots! oh well c'est la vie

You need to find a good babysitter that you can use on the odd occassion so that you can go to concerts every once-in-a-while. It might help you to feel better about others things too!
