My dog passed away yesterday. She would have been 15 in June

That's unfortunate, the loss of a pet isn't easy =(. On the other hand being old is awful so perhaps it's for the best.

Yeah, it was definitely for the best. She was in pain all of the time. We would have taken her to the vet to get put down much sooner, but she yelped in terror every time she was in a car. We didn't want her last experience to be so traumatizing.
