Home From the Prom
It was Brian's Senior Formal Reception for his graduation from college. It was better than a prom!
We were late cause we forgot the tickets, so we had to go all the way back home, but as it turned out, it wasn't so bad. We still had a nice dinner and everything. We were all dressed up and got lots of nice pictures which will be mailed to us sometime... But we'll see how Brian's dad's digitals came out. XD Brian looked so handsome in his suit and tie! Gotta post a photo soon...
The champagne tast was nice but the ensuing dance party left much to be desired. Hip-Hop is just not my thing. If they had stuck to the Oldies and Eitghies mix like they played thru dinner (and everyone sang along to spontaneosuly, I might add) it would have turned out better.
So up to the very swanky room for a little hanky panky ... which got intterupted by an evacuation fire alarm around midnight, caused by what I'm still not sure. So back to the room after about 10 minutes after 3 fire trucks come and say it's okay, More hanky panky. We decide to fill out the card for room service breakfast. XD Then sleep in the most wonderful, comfy, fluffy bed ever. Purrr....
Get up in the morning, I open the beautiful red velvety curtains. Rainy, cloudy day. Oh well. Breakfast is delivered! Yummy breakfast in bed complete with vase of little flowers. Then we go down to the indoor pool for a swim! Oh, I wish I could live like this every day!
And I don't keep up with my LJ much lately, shame on me.
