Considering I started the day with not one, but two coffees, I'm feeling strangely exhausted. Then again, I think the macchiato I got at Starbucks was possibly more milk than caramel and more caramel than coffee, so that probably h as something to do with it.

 Andrew and Charlie both had birthday parties to attend this weekend; I lost count of how many cupcakes Charlie consumed and frankly I'm probably better off not knowing.  Charlie is home again today - third day in a row - because late last night, his fever spiked again. The good news is that it's not spiking quite as highly as it was over the weekend, when he was getting up to 102 and staying there despite medication.  Today is Parent/Student orientation at Andrew's school, since they moved to a new location over the Winter Break. This is the second time this year the school's tried to move to the new location, which has been under construction for the last... oh, maybe three or four centuries, give or take.  So back at home, safe if not altogether sound. Poor Andrew still has a horrendous cough, and it didn't abate for the trip home.
