Trure about the fandon, but in IRL... I'm the only one that's homosexual in this small town, and everyone here is closeminded and looks down very harshly at homosexuality, family included (except fro one of my step-sisters).

Yeah, I do agree with you about America being more homophobic as a whole..

It is one of the reasons why I want to move ot Europe when I can find a steady job and such.

I'm sorry your in such a small town, its actually a 'fad' in my suburia High School {as far as I've heard} to be 'bisexual' though they simply do it for attention. Though I'm in the south, closer to more open minded people.

Down here people keep their thoughts to themselves mostly, for better or for worse. Orlando has a big gay community, so it's pretty normal around here. I'm really pulling for more transgendered rights though. Where being gay is becoming more normal and mainstream, those who are transgendered are still looked at as freaks and deviants, both in public perception and in legal loopholes.
