last night i fell off my unicycle into a store front window. it was some sort of cheap salon and the owner, patricia, said i could repay the damage by working there, doing body wraps and facials ya' know. she told me i had beautiful skin, that her customers would like a girl from NYC, and took my number ( Read more... )

Unless Chris objects (I know that he is also a writer), I am stealing the name, "Shirley's Real Tasty and Half Full". I can't imagine a greater name for a fictional restaurant.

That is, of course, if you don't mind ;)

Next time you are feeling like life up here in NYC is more exciting, think about what I was doing last night while you were unicycling down in Austin.

I was making a salad to take to a church social, and knitting a sock.

Seriously, Erin, you never cease to entertain!

I love reading/exchanging dreams! (the unicycle thing IS a dream, right?). Mine are always so long and complicated though they get boring. I always try to condense! It makes it weirder sounding that way too.

A few nights ago I dreamt I had to recharge my phone (which was a watch) by holding in my hands some batteries, some rice, and some glass beads. The phone would be charged when the beads turned green. It took a long time, and I thought, "how long do they expect me to sit around with a handful of rice and beads?"

rice and beads, ha!

and yes, totally a dream, although i think di thinks i was really uncycling through austin and now have to work as a spa technician. ha!

see above. (Di stands corrected.)

oh, and if we're talking dreams, the other night I was a popstar, and my friend Eric was trying to style me to be a sort of a Jewel-like star...

he kept telling me, "more Joni, less Janis."

hehehehe.

you fell off a UNICYCLE through a PLATE GLASS WINDOW???

1. are you ok?
2. that sounds like the most surreal thing i have ever heard of.
3. the solution sounds downright sitcom.
