Life goals: To become a Fulbright Scholar and continue my research in Northern Ireland, to work abroad in an American embassy, learn 3 foreign languages and get my phd
Favorite Azumanga character and why: Osaka hands down. No matter how silly she is her heart is always in the right place.
Least favorite and why: Yukari, I know she's supposed to be obnoxious and pushy but she just rubs me the wrong way. kinda want to slap her around.
Specific
Do you have any pets? A white rabbit named Pineapple :) He has three brown dots by his nose, a brown mask that kind of looks like Green Arrow's and a racing stripe down his back. Originally I was going to name him Sir David Bowie but it didn't suit him.
Are you shy or outgoing? Both. I love people and have no problem talking to strangers when I'm bored and need to be entertained, but at the same time I can clam up if I'm with a crowd I just don't gel with.
Would you consider yourself tolerant of others? I'd love to say yes, but I'm really not all that tolerant. I have major issues with people that I view as complete idiots.
Do you participate in extra-curriculars or are you part of the Go Home Club? I'm part of the MPA association, Beta Gamma Sigma, Griffin Honour Society, InterFuture (Intercultural Studies for the Future, it's how I went abroad and did research for 4 months), and did a couple years with Students for Peace and Justice, MASSEquality, NOW, Planned Parenthood League of MA, and Intl Business Club.
What type of people do you hang around with? Pompous, slightly pretentious nerds. We play Rockband while debating who has the better Pokemon team, whether or not DC is better than Marvel, and if MA's new healthcare policy really is the way to go or is socialized healthcare just a pipe dream.
You can be too tall to be cute. True or false and why? True. I'm sorry, but really tall girls freak me out because it just doesn't click in my brain. Plus if you get too be too tall you'll hit you're head on pipes/doorways/sprinklers/birds. Also, if you;re too cute you almost seem unnatural.
What are you afraid of? That I will become nothing and end up stuck in a cubicle in middle management in some generic company for the rest of my life.
Are you a slacker or do you study/do homework? I don't have to study to do well so I'm a huge slacker with an incredibly high GPA.
What is your cure for hiccups? Wait them out. Unless they are so bad they hurt then I suck on a lemon. I think the placebo affect is the only reason it works though.
Favorite school subject? Public Budgeting or Data Analysis
