I am trying to find ways to release it in a more productive way but hearing it from someone else is always good. Some people tell me it'll be okay with time, but I don't think how I'm acting right now is all that healthy though I seem on the outside to be coping with it so well.
I might ask you more about your therapy and how you found someone that would work well for you. A place to start would be a help.
On a certain level you might have to accept that you may have to indulge in some unhealthy behavior until you feel ready to heal. Kate Bornstein once said something along the lines of "If you have to cut or starve yourself to feel better long enough to not kill yourself, then that's what you need to do." An extreme statement to be sure, but she's got a point. It's so easy for people to tell you to "get help" but much more complicated than that in reality

Sorry to hear you are having a tough time. I hope this outlet helps you - I have found keeping a journal like this has gotten me through some pretty tough situations and helped a lot with figuring out my identity.
