7.02 Hello Cruel World

I'm totally jazzed about where they took Supernatural this evening.

I have to applaud Mark Pellegrino for his performance, I loved his reprise of Lucifer. His hand gestures to Sam at Bobby's were priceless. I wonder how many episodes he's going to be in and if his presence indicates that maybe a little bit of him is literally attached to Sam. Regardless, I hope to see more of him and it looks like I'll get my wish from the last few moments of the episode.

I love the leviathans and I can't wait to see how the boys get out of this one. I'm very touch and go with looking for spoilers so I have no idea who the big boss might be or even if it's been cast yet. It looks like the boys are going to need all hands on deck for this one. They're also going to need someone who knows about them. They can't keep calling Death, I don't think Death would put up with it. I wonder what Crowley's up too?

Dean's comments to Bobby's answering machine and driving off the pier were gold.

I'm so happy they didn't kill off Sheriff Mills. The moment I saw her in the previews I groaned and waited for her death but was so happy it didn't come, yet anyway. I don't know where they are now but I'm hoping Bobby got her to safety.  I guess now we know what the early spoilers meant by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and that their villian would know all Dean and Sams moves.

Castiel.... I don't know how to express my thoughts for his finish.  I just, maybe I felt his end was near and was prepared for it. They really weaned me off of him last season but I wish Dean had acknowledged Castiel's apology in the last episode. I did love Bobby's remembrance to him but I was waiting for more from Dean. I guess we kinda got it in Dean's message but it was about everything that had been going down and not just Cas.

I do have to wonder, I had guessed in the summer that Cas would bring Jo back. Since he's gone I have to wonder how the writers are going to do it?
