It never ceases to amaze me how useless some people can be. They beg for a job then are just a waste of space. I'd finally gotten my hours cut back but now they are increasing again because one lady just can't bring herself to come to work and when she does she might as well not have. My mother is in the hospital with pneumonia and it sucks. But she is getting better. She will be there for probably another week though as she is 90, has a bad heart and bad kidneys and they need to keep closer eye on her than the nursing home can as long as she is on strong antibiotics. I feel bereft. Robin Williams was one of my favorite actors. He had a range of emotions that very few can match. One consolation is that I picture Robin and Johnathan Winters in heaven having a great time making each other laugh.

I was in Chicago for a week starting on the 16th. I went to see Billy Joel in concert and it was awesome. The night before I left to come home I went to a Cubs game...they won 6-0 with 3 home runs. Had a great time in between sight seeing ( Read more... )
