Prince of Avalon
Summary: All he'd ever known was pain and the constant feeling that he would always know nothing but suffering for the simple crime of being born. When the chance at a 'normal' life arrived he felt it was too good to be true and would surely be ripped away from him at any moment. How long would this normalcy last before the curse he was certain his birth had placed upon him would tear it all away? What was it that had brought about his suffering and why was it that he seemed important and yet despised by those from his place of birth?
Prologue
Every living being that possesses what the majority would entitle as 'human characteristics, a conscience, or morality' have within them a single grain of what makes up the whole. In their existence that but a mere strand of thousands of threads that make up the light and darkness.
Sins, attributes, selfishness, selflessness, belief, despair, life and death are but small factors in and of themselves within these two forces. Some believe that karma helps to balance these ancient forces. Others would simply believe that the world will stabilize itself in due time and prefer to pay heed to only the things that occur in their own lives, whether good or bad. Among all the theories that are present in what one would say helps to keep the dark and light powers, or divine and malevolent forces, one truth remains. These two forces have existed and will continue to exist as much as they will try to overpower the other in an timeless battle for dominance.
So very few will admit that these two powers have been the cause of many tragedies marked down in history. The balance can be so easily tipped and chaos has and will continue to reign supreme when this occurs. One must remain equal to the other for life to continue moving forward. Thousands of years have told of battles, wars, plaques, and great loss of life that fell upon the world and the universe because of the tip in power.
There are legends that also foretold of a singular strand of an existing being holding the power to ensure the darkness nor light became more than the other. Prophets, monks, monarchs, princes, princesses, warriors, and many of the other who are often symbolized as saviors or messengers from God's are among those who have reset and caused an equivalence between these forces to return.
Now, nearly one thousands years later this being has come upon the living world to ensure that life will be able to continue on with the tragedies that could happen should chaos reign once more. This person has been often times called a being of darkness and of light. A prophecy was made by a well know seer that this time such a responsibility has befallen the lost and unknown Prince of Avalon.
