Just screwing around in photoshop. ANGRY FROWL IS ANGRY AND IS GOING TO SHOOT...SOMETHING...BELOW HIM.
Basically, I fucked it up when I colored him (so nothing but the lineart for you), and I also just now realized that his shoulders are weird. HOWEVER, this is a huge accomplishment for me considering that i never draw bodies. EVER. Just the head ( Read more... )

It's not so much his shoulders, as it is his chassis: it's too small/narrow.
Also his shoulder cannons are kind of hueg.

Nice pose, though!

i think at one point i did try to make his chasis thicker (as you can probably see with the erased lines next to his left shoulder), but he looked like a derp. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. OH WELLS.

i was originally going to make him bluestreak, because i just had this image of a badass bluestreak in my head for awhile now (not to mention the fact that evvj spurred this hilarious image of bluestreak as an assasin awhile back). he ended up looking too wrong as bluestreak, so i just made him FROWL instead.

i still want to draw that assasin bluestreak though, BECAUSE THAT'D BE HILARIOUS.

but lol, yeah, damn transformer anatomy. Stupid tiny heads and etc. I just try to remember that they turn into cars, and that the body needs to be proportional to the car parts, and the car parts have to be properly shaped and look like car parts. This gets hard when we factor in I can't draw cars.

I NOW UNDERSTAND WHY THERE ARE SHOULDER CANONS. I can envision assassin Bluestreak with frightening clarity. Probably because it isn't a far cry from sniping.
Can never have too much Frowl, though.
