I got a raise at work! But I also go off my parents’ health care plan on Halloween…so after taxes and paying for my own health care I think the extra money each month will pretty much be gone.  Ah well. Luckily, I will only have to pay for health care for 2-4 months.

How do I know this?? Because Peace Corps FIIIINALLY got in touch with me and gave

congratulations times infinity plus 1!!! And you know you are going to be fine because this job was made for you. You are going to be able to build your own projects and adapt them to the people you meet. And a rural area might just be safer.

That sounds really exciting on all counts. Getting a raise is nice, and though it might be kind of a pain to be off your parents' health insurance at least you'll really be independent! :) Yay for the PeaceCorps getting in touch with you! I know that wherever they send you you will do amazing because that is just generally who you are :)

On an unrelated note, I have the tomorrow and Monday off from school, and so am in Annandale and would love to hang out with you if you have any time this weekend!!

This weekend's kind of hectic because I have to clean my room/apply for health care/go to dinner Saturday night, and Sunday I'm going to my grandma's. But Monday night I'm free!

Monday night I have to be back at school for class :( ( a "long weekend" at my school is from the end of seminar Thursday night to seminar Monday night). Would you have time to just hang out tonight or during the afternoon tomorrow? I can't really go out anywhere because it will be Shabbat and I don't spend money or travel, but hanging out is always fun! Give me a call(or email) before 6:30 this evening if either of those times would work for you. I hope to be able to catch up with you, but if it doesn't work out enjoy cleaning your room, etc. and going to see your grandma! :)
