[Lillian doesn't get around to fishing Lester's origami out of her tote bag until the next day. She'd slept in until eleven o' clock the next morning after being up so late exchanging letters with James through the mailboxes upstairs. Fortunately, it's Saturday and there isn't anywhere she needs to be today. Though no one's around to see it, ( Read more... )

[Lester has been poking around on his computer when it told him he had an e-mail. The only person who ever really e-mailed him was Carla. He clicked on it only to find he was quite, quite wrong.]

This is quite the coincidence. I would never have guessed that you were mementovivere, but perhaps that is because I was unaware that you were here. No, I probably would not have been able to tell regardless.

I, or maybe we, must be lucky if we've been running into each other both on campus and on the internet. This is definitely what I would call good luck.

I hope you are having a good day,

Lester Cotton

[Lillian was scrolling through her inbox when she got the notification she had a new e-mail. She'd just started to click on a mass e-mail recently sent to all students and faculty by the principal when a reply from Lester appears. That was fast. She quickly changes plans, moving her cursor over to the new email instead and clicks.]

Only one other person knows I'm mementovivere. :) I don't use my real name online if I don't know the person in real life.

I agree we're lucky. This is, indeed, a fortunate turn of events.

I am, actually. :) I hope you are as well.

I see. I'm the same way--I would rather not use my real name on the internet if I can help it. I have told one person who I am, I believe, because they had a similar experience to me.

[Here he realizes that Lilly is one of the people who had gotten wrapped up in the persona incident]

Come to think of it, you've had a similar experience as well. I'm glad to know that you are doing well. I'm not certain what kind of luck is at play if you are involved in the supernatural incidents, since the nature of those are still unclear...Yet I must admit that part of me is glad that you and I are in the same boat.

And at the moment I'm doing well. It is a fairly uneventful day and I intend to enjoy it.

[Lillian quickly finishes her reply to the principal's e-mail when her e-mail notification goes off again and hits send. She lights up at another reply from Lester once she sees who it's from.]

I think it's good to be cautious on the internet. You never know who might stumble across your information.

I'm glad, too. All of it is very strange but it's strangely comforting to know someone from back home has also had an unusual incident.

That's good. I'm responding to the principal's e-mail right now. I didn't check my inbox until today so I missed it. Did you respond?
