One more thing, I don't know if these will help you in anyway. I haven't had a chance to full explore them to see what they are, but my Mom sent me these two websites the other day:

http://www.collegefortexans.com/default2.cfm

http://www.window.state.tx.us/scholars/applying/index.html

If all else fails you should be able to go ahead and apply for a student loan from a commerical bank. Key Bank for example has a pretty good student loan program (I took a small one out through them a few years ago) and IIRC they don't expect you to be broke before applying, though you may need to already be enrolled in your classes before applying. Give them a call and find out what you're options are they can probably tell you what you need to do to line up the financing before quitting. You can also call the Financial Aid department at UH (or wherever) and find out if they have any advice for people looking to go back full time but will need to have loans/grants set up ahead of time before making the leap ( ... )

Yeah... I figured as much, but I was hoping for grants first. :P

Thanks.
