Part 1 here

Junsu has somewhat of an obsession with ramune bottles. He first discovered them in Japan, when they were looking for snacks at the convenience store. Intrigued by the opening, he had immediately tried to see if he could get the glass marble out of the bottle like so many others before him. Changmin kept scoffing at him, saying it was scientifically impossible, while Yunho thought it was rather cute and silly (despite secretly wanting to try it himself).

Junsu finally admitted defeat and placed the bottle on his desk. But he would often tip the bottle back and forth, watching the glass ball roll and roll, clinking and gliding across the dimpled surface. On some occasions, he would even put the bottle to his mouth, pushing back and tipping forward the ball.

Yunho is about to ask Junsu something when he finds Junsu in one of his ramune moments. He has the bottle supported only with his lips and he's tipping it back and forth to let the ball clink up and down. Yunho keeps thinking of a bird and wonders if Junsu knows how silly he looks.

Junsu, of course, is in his own little world. He lets the bottle hang out of his mouth slightly, an unexpected sucker to distract himself.

"Junsu?" It takes several times for Yunho to catch his attention, until Junsu finally swivels the chair and looks at Yunho, bottle still precariously perched in his mouth.

"Harmph?" Yunho fights the urge to laugh out loud. He opts for a grin.

"I'm going to grab some stuff at the store. You want to come?"

Junsu cocks his head before nodding once, releasing the bottle from his lips with an audible pop.

He's grabbing some dried fruit and goes to the drinks aisle where he sees Junsu eying the ramune bottles again. They come in various flavors at this store, and he can see Junsu debating which one he wants.

"I can't tell if you like them for the actual flavor or for the design," Yunho jokes.

"It tastes good! Anyway, you've never tried it so what do you know? And the glass ball makes it taste different somehow. More interesting. We've tasted weirder things, U-know~? Ramune o uramune*~!" Junsu says in a singsong voice.

"Oh gods, that was horrible. Double oyaji gag now?"

Junsu laughs eu kyang kyang, but he goes back to his task of picking the right flavor. He looks carefully, his tongue peeking out from his mouth occasionally as he is deep in thought.

They finally finish, and Junsu's now attempting to open the bottle while walking and slinging a grocery bag from one arm. Yunho, not wanting to see disaster, takes the bag from Junsu. Junsu smiles a quick thanks and proceeds to push down on the opening.

The glass ball pops down, but the drink is threatening to overflow. Junsu sucks at the opening, trying to inhale the gas and the sweet liquid before it threatens to go down his fingers. It's not too bad though, and he quickly wipes his hands on his jeans.

Junsu takes a swig and sighs with contentment. Yunho looks at him slightly enviously; the way Junsu drinks is of fully enjoyment and Yunho wonders what it tastes like.

Surprisingly, Junsu seems to sense Yunho's thoughts.

"Do you want some?"

Yunho nods, accepting the bottle from Junsu's outstretched hand. He places the bottle to his mouth, (an indirect kiss his mind thinks) as the slight warmth of Junsu and the sticky sweetness cling to his lips. He tips the bottle back, wondering if any liquid will actually flow with the glass ball. He finds that the liquid flows naturally around the ball and he doesn't even have to really worry about it.

He hands the bottle back to Junsu, who immediately takes another swig. But it goes down the wrong pipe and he's sputtering slightly and coughing. Yunho pats him on the back, as Junsu hacks it out.

"Hey, you alright?"

"I'm fine."

There it is again, that look Junsu's been getting more and more often. Yunho knows that if he can just get Junsu to start talking, then he'll keep going, on and on without stop. But he knows Junsu's never been keen on discussing his personal thoughts. Yunho tried to confront Junsu three weeks ago with disastrous results and Junsu just locked himself up for hours until Jaejoong coaxed him out.

Instead, he says something else.

"You know, it does taste good. Different. In a good way."

It seems to be the right thing to say, because Junsu starts immediately gabbing, talking about how he got the first one, how he couldn't figure it out and felt embarrassed for asking Changmin to read the Japanese instructions, and how he had spent a long time trying to see if he could take the glass ball out.

Only Junsu would be the type to talk on and on about one thing. He can be so focused on a topic sometimes that he won't even realize anything else that's happening around him.

Which is why Yunho wonders sometimes how it would be like to have Junsu fully focused on them, on him, with no restraints. His throat feels dry as his mind delves into areas he's explored ever since that moment in the dance studio. He's gripping his bag a little too tightly and his walking has slowed.

"Hyung?" Junsu's looking at him oddly, with a bit of a pout.

Yunho restrains his impulse to kiss those puckered lips.

*(A/N:"uramu" is the verb "to hate." Junsu is basically saying, "don't hate on the ramune.")
