I think you just had a birtt...birthhd...(arg! I hate it when the cursor gets in the way of my typing)...I mean BIRTHDAY recently. Sorry I forgot. So...happy birthday, man!
You know, I've been thinking; I just don't understand why it seems so hard for people to accept Christian goths. It's weird in that I REALLY don't understand. I mean, for me, it's simply a non-issue. You have Christian rednecks, Christian skaters, Christian metro-sexuals, Christian bikers, Christian computer nerds...so why not Christian goths? I suppose you could say it's because goths are usually associated with this and that, or that and this, and those things are bad or something. But to me, that point of view just seems so narrow-minded, superficial; so stereotyping. I find it hard to believe that a person of any intelligence would look at people that way.
I don't know. Maybe it's because, in my life, most of my friends have been weird; that is, not necessarily mainstream. Most of my friends growing up were either nerds, or geek-hippies, or computer guys, or metal-heads, or all of the above. So...they became what was normal to me. Does that make sense?
Well, you wouldn't be Zach if you weren't pissed off and ranting about SOMETHING so, it makes sense to me. :)
Its actually pretty simple: people who don't know what Goth is think it involves SATAN cause we tend to wear all black and that is obviously the dress of the chic devil-worshipper. So they get this crazy cognitive dissonance that says... wait how can they worship God and satan? And their head asplodes. Or something like that. :)

But, dude, you can hardly call THAT a rant. Check out my journal entry on last weeks Myrtle Beach Bike Week and you'll see a rant.
