every job on the fireground is important. i used to get pissed off whenever i would miss a fire, but have come to realize that we each have a destiny. there are some fires that we aren't meant to fight, and others that will fall before us. so don't fret.

I understand that. And I wouldn't have as much a problem with it, except Asst. Chief Gardner wanted me specifically to go up to the main site.
