LOL! If I were Azula, I'd have to wonder how he could be such a sucker over and over again.

I think they're setting something up, though. I guess we'll find out in March.

Waiting sucks.

Usually the new seasons start in March. Although episode 3 of season 3 seems scheduled for July, according to IMDB.com.

This is why I hate getting into series when they're on TV. I hate waiting and wondering and hoping they won't get canceled before the story arc ends.

I hope it's not September. I'll have lost it by then, and I've no doubt most of the rest of the world would have given up on it as well. Seems like a fast track towards cancellation if you ask me. I hope Nick isn't stupid enough to shoot itself in the foot that way.

Like I said, I only heard it's September, but, as you said, imdb seems to slate season 3 starting in July, but surprisingly, no news of episode 1 and 2 (which will most probably be an hour long intro to season 3) so hopefully, imdb is right...

The thing is, Nickelodeon has been known to shoot itself in the foot in many occassions...

Also, Avatar has been very sporadic on their episode schedules...

Yeah...I wondered the same thing. But I can see what's likely to happen - Zuko is destined to be the next Firelord when all this is over, and in order to be a good ruler (unlike the nitwit Earth King who needs a slap upside the head), he has to get kicked in the choobies a lot to appreciate what he has. Azula's going to screw him over again (does anyone not see this coming), and he's going to lose Uncle Iroh (waaah!) at which point, he'll have lost *everything* and be ready to let go of his pride and grow the fuck up. I haven't yet figured out if it's him that teaches Aang firebending, or Uncle Iroh. I've thought it would be Iroh, but given the absence of a new voice listed in IMDB...I'm not sure ( ... )

I just caught the episode where Aapa was roaming the world looking for Aang and sort of got sucked in. Although I thought the bison had died at the end of it, which made me sit up and think, wow, harsh. It still wasn't all that upbeat, even so.

Am looking forward to finding out what happened in reruns and rentals and Youtube. Am I not supposed to be rooting for the Fire siblings?

Just came across your journal on a linked from another one and I can claim myself a Avatar nut as well, and I totally agree with you.

I was really surprised when Zuko joined Azula in the fight, and kept expecting at any moment for him to backstab or SOMETHING. Arg.
