Ugh, I really need someone to just beat my head over with a stick every time I procrastinate/put off writing a story. I need to stop being a perfectionist and just accept the fact my story will be god damned flawed no matter how I write it. :/

There's also this little infatuation with writing horror fic I've had, and it's not helping (I blame ( Read more... )

I highly recommend reading aztecravemonkey's post about doing a creepypasta right. Yeah, been reading a few myself and it's pretty much the same things over and over again. A really great example of a creepypasta would be the one Jax/azteccravemonkey mentioned, Candle Cove. I think your zombie and her Dusclops would make a great creepypasta, just that you'll have to execute it well and not make the story predictable.

On another note, yum, creepy italian noodles. I need to find a restaurant with those. :P

Thanks for the link~ I'll probably look through it in a minute here. This was kinda inspired when I reviewed someone's story of what was supposed to be a creepypasta, and I had no idea. XD

Yes, creepy noodles. Let me know when you find the restaurant, 'cause I'd like to see it too. :p

"creepypasta" comes from "copypasta", which is slang for "copy/paste".

You have good timing, actually. According to his wikipedia page, Al abandoned him as a "failure" when he was little, and once he found out about the whole cloning thing, he wound up coming back and killing Al in that fire; after that he went to the PLANTs for shelter, met some obnoxious doctor guy named Durandal, and then went on to join the military.

It's not so much that there's inconsistencies, it's more that a lot of this stuff shows up in side materials and things that never made it out of Japan. (I've never read the novels, coincidentally.)

Aha, thanks for clearing that up. That makes a lot more sense now. It's too bad a lot of this doesn't make it out of Japan, it just feels like there's a lot of holes which are left from translations and missing side material.

And ouch, I can't imagine the mental breakdown. Usually I'm a nice person with a high level of tolerance for other people, but I can't say I feel sorry for Al. No one deserves to die, but from the way it sounds like he treated Mu and even Rau (verbally and or physically abusive) he should have seen that coming a mile away.

It's sad Rau's first impression of people was the absolute worst scum of the earth. /face in palms
