I really wonder why I go to these fur things. There are people I consider friends but outside the meets, our interactions are sparse at best. I don't live close enough to really do random stuff with anyone outside the meets. I went to the Snowpocalypse thing today and really felt out of place. I finally just decided to leave since I didn't intend

That's exactly what I was expecting if I were to have gone. I had pretty much zero interest in the thing, while my friends were uber excited about it. So, I figured I would be spending a lot of time by myself, bored off my ass. If I had gone, you and I could have been bored off our asses together, but we'd still be bored all the same, I'd imagine.

Not going to the meet, either.

I think I heard 'pool/hottub" and was like I'm so there! Then got there and realized oh right, this is a hotel; there aren't locker rooms for changing. I wasn't about to rent a room just so I could change and it felt odd randomly asking someone if I could use their room to change.

Happenstance said the pool was super loaded, too. You'd never be able to get me into that...
