I really enjoyed this episode. Yes, the plot twist was a bit far-fetched, but it was saved for me by the way the two sons turned out to be honourable young men who clearly understood the value of things beyond money. And I loved, loved, loved the Steve and Danny banter this episode, it felt comfortable and not forced in any way. Grover seemed to fit in just right, too. Add to all this the fact that Steve just looked delectable all the way through, with the added bonus of the tux at the end, and yeah, this episode entertained me greatly.

I'm really liking this season so far, and the cast seem to be enjoying themselves, too.

I'm glad that they've finally put the Catherine issue to bed. I don't think that Steve is someone who would emote openly all over the place about his 'lost love', men like him tend to do the stiff upper lip thing around their mates and work colleagues, but it's right that he might talk to a close relative (and especially a female one) about her. And now that we know that Catherine's not coming back then maybe fandom can move on? Here's hoping, anyway.

My one tiny, tiny WTF? was when Chin was following the kid to the motel: if you want to tail someone and remain unnoticed, surely you don't do it in a bright red-and-white muscle car?! A very minor gripe, though, because this is H50 and popcorn TV, not serious RL stuff :)

episode review, h5-0
