This is so stupid, but do you ever sign on to Facebook or MySpace or whatever social networking device/obsession you prefer, and look at the little box where you put your status and just think, man, if I could just put what I'm really thinking.

Okay, well FIRST of all, it may seem as though people lead "more interesting" lives than you, but you have to look back to the beginning of what you wrote and read the bit about technology, and how it's completely surface, therefore disabling the reader to actually understand what someone types, texts, or mumbles through the phone lines
