It's been more than a month since I last posted, although I've chatted briefly in others' comments since then. I'm still a bum, for those of you wondering. Only now I'm a pet-sitting, pants-delivering bum...

After staying up for Australia's 2-0 defeat by Brazil (Ronaldinho is a scary lookin', scarily talented motherfucker) and their 'beautiful play ( Read more... )

That's a pretty good excuse for not being available on Tuesday night. It was Tuesday, right?

Remind me to call on you when I don't have my pants.

That's a really nice thing of you to do - sounds like a hell of an adventure. I felt that I should point out that you were in my car when it clocked over 100,000 kms, too. Perhaps a trend is forming?

Hope you're doing well, these days, too...

Ha! I remembered that when we clocked over the 200,000. Trend? Well, divide the number of times this has happened ... 2 ... into the number of times I've been a passenger in a car (which is a large number, yes, although I have actually driven a car ... let's see ... four times? five?) ... not really enough times to be considered a trend ;)

Doing well, well, I'm 'doing', in that I'm doing ... very little at the moment ... so I guess I could turn 'doing well' into a motivational goal of sorts. Must pay you a visit some time soon, maybe for a game of Go? Seeing as we're both the same side of the Yarra these days and all. It'd be a good excuse to get on the bike again. *brring brring*

Sounds like quite a cool roadtrip. I will also add you to my list of people to call upon in a pants related emergency.

Dear b0rken,

As a Japanese person living in Melbourne, would you be able to tell me where one might find decent Japanese food in Melbourne?

I was down there for a few days earlier this week and both times I visited Japanese restaurants they were sham operations run by sneaky Chinese sheisters with little or no idea how to cook Japanese food. The tempura batter was like that of a potato scallop, the miso soup was watery and, to top it off, they served me spring rolls!

I was considering a move to Melbourne (now that I'm not stalking you or skinnygirlflab I thought we could be friends and hang out together and screw hot chicks), but the lack of decent Japanese (or Thai, for that matter) made me reconsider.

Also, why isn't it possible to buy anything but shitty breakfast food from cafes in the CBD before 11.30am?

Best wishes,

flabbystalker

P.S. Why don't you un-ban me now that we're pals?
