I am supposed to be doing something with luncheon tomorrow but we haven't organised it yet. Meanwhile, the world turns, they're not going to rebuild New Orleans, and more people should read vicsig and spatula-city ... so I don't have to ;)

After unsuccessfully trying to install winXP, again, I've reverted to the XandrOS linux install CD ... at least it doesn't need a key ... don't forget that Microsoft is hunting for people with dodgy keys, so head for the hills, children. Well, that seals it ... I'm going on the Bicycle Victoria Great Victorian Bike Ride in November. Just have to work off my winter coat between now and then!

I'll be fine -- Mum's coming along too ... she's doing some trekking in NZ soon and this'll be a warm-up for that. I hope I'm as active when I retire.

Just donated some of my ill-gotten gains to the Niger food crisis 2005 appeal at the Australian Red Cross. I didn't donate anything to the Tsunami appeal but the footage of kids munching on raw rotten meat the other night on SBS was just about enough to motivate me :\
