I really like this! A post-apocalyptic world that seemed original! For once it isn't zombies, aliens, nuclear war, or global warming. Well, kind of global warming. Anyway, it was a very interesting world you created here. Wish Dongwoo wouldn't have panic attacked at the market because I wanted to know what they were there for. I also wonder if Dongwoo's old life would try to come and find him. I suppose not, they probably don't care, one less person to use up air and eat.

thank you! yeah, it's kind of an odd vision of a post-apocalyptic world, but i'm glad you enjoyed it! (idk its a mixture of global warming and environmental factors?? something?? anyway). hopefully i'll be able to write more for this au and i can answer those questions then (and you'll get to see junghwan and jinyoung)! his old life was definitely going to try to find him, but there wasn't any time to finish that part of the story with any satisfaction, so it'll have to wait. thank you for reading and enjoying it (and reviewing)! <3

i was terribly excited when i first saw this fic!! an 8k shinchanro sci-fi au is pm all i ever wanted but never dared to hope for lol

it's a great universe you've created for your story, it feels original and interesting but also believable. personally i loved all descriptions of masks and air seals and underground apartments lol. the relationship and dynamic between the three of them is lovely, the small interactions and the tension that grew. i loved the part where chansik touched dongwoo's cheek, it was such a small thing but very well written. over-all i really like your language and the way you write, you use a lot of similes and descriptions that are really beautiful.

You've created such a fascinating and full universe here it's almost overwhelming to read. The dynamic between the three of them is so uncertain but so gentle, even though they've just reunite it feels so amazingly tender it's everything i could have hoped for but!! more than anything i love that scene of them eating and how acutely the sadness hits dongwoo. it kind of grabbed into every relatively similar emotion or memory i ha and pulled it out just so that i could try to imagine what he must have been feeling. it was all so wonderful, the loneliness, the longing and that tentatively hopeful ending, thank you so much!
