After much too long a time without finishing a fic, I finally got a drabble up at fanfic-realm and a new piece at the Pit. For those of you not involved with tolkiens-realm, the extended version of said drabble ought to be up at 50lyricsfanfic soon. In my story, Luthien Tinuviel and Findulias of Nargothrond didn’t die. When Beren died and in the sacking of Nargothrond they both fell asleep and were taken by Ulmo himself to a secret place in the savages lands in the east of the blue mountains “Ered Luin”.

Words fail me. Just... no. Suethor, you have officially killed about over half of the stories in The Silmarillion.

What an interesting way to write a battle scene. Neat, clean and all over in one sentence...marvellous! I can only wonder why the great Prof did not choose to write his own tales in this way.

How many words did this author use that weren't ripped straight from the movie script, btw? If I could be bothered I'd go back and count them.
