On true friendship

So few people allow me to be there for them. Some of my best friends won't even let me know that something was wrong until someone else has fixed it for them. They want me to be able to open up, to allow them to pull me through difficult times. But it must go both ways

i TOTALLY relate...i feel like i'm no ones BEST best friend. i'm not the person that they want to call first when something happens...i'm more of the afterthought. but when you're going through shit, they want to know everything.
