Okay everybody. I know that there are some of us who like *shudder* & many of us who dislike Ashlee Simpson. As you can tell, I am one of the ones who dislikes her. I thought that as a nice community starting topic, we could all discuss Ashlee Simpson. So comment with your views on her & we can have our first community discussion thing. i HATE her..she drives me nots.. i hate her voice and she says that she never liked pop music? right...i think she is just doing the pop/punk thing to be "whats cool" she played off of her sister to become big bc without her and mtv every1 would boo her off i hate her lisdney(sp)lohan and hillary duff...they all drive me nuts

I dont totally hate Ashlee Simpson. I simply dislike her. She DOES have a terrible voice and she HAS the stupidest lyrics (if you like her for her lyrics, folks, you havent LISTENED to them; they dont make any flippin' sense!) and she thought she could get off the way Aaron Carter or Solange Knowles did, or the way Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan did. But I think she forgot the fact that you kind of need to know HOW to sing first as well.. And dont get me wrong, I'm not saying I love Lindsay Lohan or Hilary or Aaron (I like Solange, she can sing quite nicely) because I really DONT, I'm just saying that people dont boo them off the effin' stage! And they can at least sing somewhat, too.

In conclusion, I just really like singers who can sing.

Yeah I agree with both of ya'll. I mean I really loathe Ashlee Simpson cause I mean, I can sing better than her. And that's sad, cause I have a pretty good voice, but for her being 'professional' and all, I mean yeah. She wouldn't be ANYWHERE without Jessica or MTV either. <33

hahaha thats very much true. i think its hilarious about the SNL and Orange Bowl thing. I would "boo" her off too

I'm kinda neutral towards her, but I don't really think shes that pretty. And I really don't like Jessica. But I must admit, "Pieces of Me" is the greatest song of all time to scream at the top of your lungs in the middle of the night with your best friend and wake up her older sister with.
