I would question as to why you've placed something apparently empty and somewhat of no use onto a road; however, I can pleasantly say that I had little interest in the 'object' upon its first hint.
I was planning on putting it in a better place, but there simply wasn't the time. In the end though, I suppose I also wanted to provide the curious minds with a challenge, since all I ever hear from the scientific community is how impossible it is to study something away from their home lab.
To this end, I suppose I am glad you had no interest in it.
I find it difficult to believe that you ran out of time upon placement of something which could become and obstacle. Generally speaking, depending on which area they specialise within, those of a scientific profession do indeed nee their home environments, and possessions, in order to do as they intend.
The less people with interest in this object, the more thoroughly those with said interest can investigate.

I should hope so, though I suspect they have possibly found a new target of interest.
