I think who won in the alligator vs. python story all boils down the motivation of the motivation behind the snake's trying to eat the alligator. If he was doing it because he was hungry and feeling cocky, he lost. If he was doing it out of anger toward the alligator, he won. Sure, he died, but so did the alligator, and isn't that more important? I think it is. Sometimes you have to sacrifice, to prove your point.

I noticed the 'sober' part in the story, as well.
There was another picture of the dog that looked a little cuter, though. It was too bad that from the litter of puppies, all the double nosed ones died within 3 days. :^ (
