so i went up to my cousins on thursday and stayed until her birthday yesterday. my aunt had a surprise party for her which was cool but unfortunately she had to ruin it by yellin at me and my cousin about something stupid. i wont go into detail... just know that there was drama and it was dumb. so we had fun all weekend up until yesterday with the ( Read more... )

I'm sorry to hear about Carlos. It's so hard to let go of a pet, no matter whether you got them a couple weeks ago, or several years ago. If you were Carlos, what do you think you'd want your people to do? Would you rather live in pain, or go to sleep and never have to worry about the pain and laboured breathing again?

It's not really easy to think about, but I think I know what I'd choose. I don't think it's cruel and heartless to put a pet to sleep, if they're in such bad shape that living is painful. If anything, it's merciful. But if you have a say in the matter, go with what your heart tells you.

thanks so much for your words of wisdom. ive decided im just going to try not to think about it until saturday and just deal with it when it gets here.

OMG! I'm soo sorry! ive never experienced losing a pet (except my hampster) so i wish i could say i know how you feel. i can only imagine. im so sorry amanda. i just cant say how sorry i am. tara and i were so upset when we read this. if you need to get out anytime this week or weekend..we'll be here.
