got home as my mother finshed hemming my jeans, and left at around 12:30.
Did you need the jeans to be hemmed so that you could leave? Just a tangential thought...

The bells are changeringing ones, and we rang a quarter peal, which takes about 45 minutes, then we had to ring the bells up and down. find our tower and some explanations at www.anzab.org.au
Yes, I needed the jeans hemmed - I wasn't going to pay for them to be hemmed here in Brisbane!
Yes, I was very concerned about my car breaking down - it does most times I take it on a long trip! I don't want it to - it's meant to last until January when rego is due, and then it's being retired.
