I am not a great believer in the usefulness of New Year's resolutions. I believe in goals. Long term goals with related short-term goals marking the progress along the way. A resolution is something I leave to the U.N. (and we have all seen repeatedly how they make use of them

See, this is why I don't do these things. Would it be too lame to say, "ditto" to all this? It's not that I don't have an original thought about any of this, but I think part of the point of being married to someone is shared goals. My personal goals aren't that much different. Frankly, I think mine are too boring to blog anyway. Besides, there is still too much "up in the air" still for 2008 for me to make concrete statelments about them.

Well, you noticed these were "we" goals. There aren't really any personal goals in there, shoot, those aren't really bit enough to make that big of a deal over. Besides, personal goals are for me and you to know and everyone else to stay blissfully ignorant about, as always.
