Through the Looking Glass

I love a Broadway musical.  And Tuesday night, I got to see the new musical, WONDERLAND.  It's another version of Alice in Wonderland, as a musical.  I have been anticpating this new show since it had it's out of town runs in 2 different cities.  Mainly because it's a great story and could only be expected to be visually stunning.  Sadly, this ( Read more... )

El Gato's gang made me think of Keith Haring, which considering he was a graffiti artist isn't so far off the mark. Notably it reminded me of how he body painted Grace Jones.

ALSO: the costumes in these pictures are not from the Broadway production, but from the out-of-town shows. Some have changed slightly.

This show is by the evil Frank Wildhorn, and should not have been expected to be good. I've been asking that man to get his filthy hands off my Alice for years now.
