Ya know what?! I've been to that place where the first hug video was filmed - that's a famous shopping district in Sydney, Australia near Oxford Street.

The first video starts out a little contrived - who hugs total strangers for no reason at all? But the last video just gets me... she is so funny!

Thought you'd be interested to know that they did this earlier on this week. The Beat 94.5 had two of their staff going out and doing the same thing. It sounded like it was very successful and that there certainly were lots of people participating as you could barely hear the two staffers whenever Kid Carson tried to call them and find out how it went. Unfortunately I looked at their website and there isn't any mention of it :( I wanted to know if they'd kept a tally or anything. Especially wanted to find out if they had got any of the Skytrain cops to hug them...it turned out to become a special goal of theirs to get one of them, I guess they tried about 3 or 4 of them and none of them would go for a hug. The Beat had both a male and female out there giving out hugs. Thanks for putting those vids up, they're very touching...and they reminded me of you! :D
